The University College Student Representatives Netherlands is a national platform for University College students. The organisation is a collective of – at this moment – nine University Colleges in the Netherlands (AUC, LUC, UCM, UCU, EUC, UCR, UCG, UCTwente and UCTilburg). From these UC’s, one Student Association member as well as one Academic Council member become part of the UCSRN Board. The main aim of the organisation is to promote academic and social interactions between the different UCs, as well as to represent all UC students on a national level.
The organisation has an Executive Board which is mainly occupied with formalising the organisation into a registered Association. When the organisation becomes an official Association, the focus will shift toward representing UC students on a national level. Members of the Executive Board are the Executive Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, as well as the Academic and Social Committee Chairs.
The Social Committee and Academic Committee are there to facilitate academic and social interactions between the different UCs. These committees are mainly responsible for the organisation of events and platforms to share knowledge.
This year the Social Committee events are the UCRSN Spotlight in November and the popular UCSRN Inter-UC Tournament in the second semester!
All delegates from the Academic Councils (at the different UC’s) are in the Academic Committee of the UCSRN, just as all delegates from the Student Associations are members of the Social Committee of the UCSRN.
This year, the Universalis social representative is Juliette van den Brule, and the Academic Council representative is Lea Pehnt.
